The Brisbane Underbody Bundle

A bullbar by itself protects your front end. The bundle adds underbody armour for the three most expensive components on your 4WD — all fitted in the same workshop visit, included with your bullbar purchase.

Engine bash plate

Protects the engine sump and oil pan. Direct-strike rated aluminium, fitted to spec.

A direct strike on an unprotected sump can crack the oil pan and lead to engine damage — one of the most expensive repairs on a modern 4WD.

Gearbox bash plate

Protects the transmission casing — the single most expensive component to repair if it cops a hit.

Rock strikes here cause leaks, fluid loss, complete transmission failure. $3,000–$8,000.

Do I need to buy the bullbar from RIVAL to get the bash plate set included?

Yes. The Brisbane Underbody Bundle is a fitment package: the 3-piece bash plate set (engine, gearbox, transfer case) is included when you book a RIVAL aluminium bullbar for install at our Slacks Creek workshop. We don't fit non-RIVAL bullbars under this bundle — the bash plates are engineered to mate with the bullbar's mounting hardware as a single underbody system.

If you already own a RIVAL bullbar but haven't fitted it, give us a call on 1300 019 315 — we'll quote your install + the bash plate set separately.

Which vehicles is the bundle available for?

The bundle is available for every 4WD where RIVAL produces both a matching aluminium bullbar and a matching 3-piece bash plate set. That currently covers:

Ford Ranger / Raptor (Next-Gen 2022+), Ford Ranger PX1–PX3 (2011–2022), Toyota HiLux (2015+), Toyota LandCruiser 200/300, Isuzu D-Max (2021+), Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, Mazda BT-50, VW Amarok.

I'm not in Brisbane. Can I still order, and can you ship to me?

Yes — RIVAL ships bullbars and bash plates anywhere in Australia from rival4x4.com.au, and your local 4WD fitter can install them. The bundled-fitment offer (bash plate set included at no extra cost) is specific to bookings at our Slacks Creek workshop in Brisbane.

If you're within driving distance of Brisbane, the bundle is usually worth the trip — the included plates more than cover the fuel. If you're not, we can still help you order the parts and connect you with a fitter in your region.

How long does the install take? Do I drop the vehicle off, or wait?

Most bullbar + bash plate installs are completed within a single workshop day — we'll give you the exact timing for your vehicle when we book your slot, so you know whether to drop off or wait.

We're 20 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD via the M1 if you'd prefer to head into town while we work.

What warranty do I get on the bullbar and the bash plates?

Every install comes with the official RIVAL manufacturer warranty, registered on the day of fitment by our team. The bash plates carry the standard RIVAL warranty terms.

Full warranty details and any workmanship coverage specifics are confirmed in writing at the time of your install. None of this affects your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
